The Triple-Effect Forced Circulation Evaporator is an energy-efficient solution for treating high-salinity industrial wastewater and reverse osmosis (RO) concentrate. By combining advanced multi-effect evaporation with forced circulation technology, the system delivers high water recovery, reduced steam consumption, and reliable continuous operation while minimizing scaling and maintenance.

Equipment: Triple-effect forced circulation evaporator;

Performance: from ~10% to a supersaturated level of approximately 55%;

Treatment capacity: 2,000kg/h;

Fabricate material: product wetted parts adopt SS316L; 

Heating medium: 0.2~0.3Mpa (G) saturated live steam.

Description

Project Overview 

Reverse osmosis (RO) has become one of the most widely used technologies for industrial wastewater treatment and water purification. However, the process generates a concentrated brine stream with high salinity and complex chemical composition, creating significant challenges for disposal and environmental compliance.

For this project, a Triple-Effect Forced Circulation Evaporator is proposed to provide an energy-efficient and reliable solution for concentrating RO concentrate, supporting the implementation of a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) process. The system is specifically designed to handle high-salinity, high-viscosity wastewater with a high tendency for scaling and crystallization.

By combining advanced multi-effect evaporation technology with a forced circulation design, the system delivers excellent energy efficiency, stable long-term operation, and reduced operating costs.

How it Works 

The Triple-Effect Forced Circulation Evaporator utilizes a multi-effect evaporation process, where the secondary vapor generated in one effect is reused as the heating source for the next. This cascading use of thermal energy dramatically reduces steam consumption while maintaining high evaporation efficiency.

A high-capacity forced circulation pump continuously circulates the process liquid through the heat exchangers, ensuring uniform flow and minimizing salt deposition. This design effectively reduces scaling, maintains high heat transfer performance, and enables reliable operation even when treating high-concentration brine.
