Project Overview

Sodium nitrate (NaNO₃) is widely used in fertilizers, glass manufacturing, metallurgy, chemicals, explosives, and specialty industrial applications.As an important industrial chemical, high-purity sodium nitrate is essential for many downstream manufacturing processes.

Our Sodium Nitrate Evaporation and Crystallization System is specifically designed to concentrate dilute sodium nitrate solutions and produce high-quality crystalline sodium nitrate with high recovery efficiency.

Combining forced circulation evaporation, cooling crystallization, heat recovery, and intelligent PLC control, the system provides a reliable and energy-efficient solution for modern sodium nitrate production plants.

Process Flow   

Based on the physical properties of sodium nitrate solution, the system adopts a Single-Effect Forced Circulation Evaporator integrated with cooling crystallization and centrifugal separation.

The process consists of four major stages:

1. Feed preheating using recovered condensate and exhaust heat.

2. Forced circulation evaporation to concentrate the solution to supersaturation.

3. Cooling crystallization to promote crystal growth.

4. Centrifugal separation of sodium nitrate crystals from the mother liquor.

5. Mother liquor recycling in evaporator for further concentration to maximize product recovery while minimizing the waste generation.
