Four-effect Evaporator
A four-effect evaporator is an energy-efficient multiple-effect evaporation system that concentrates liquids by reusing secondary vapor generated during the evaporation process. By operating four evaporator effects in series under progressively lower pressures, the system significantly reduces live steam consumption while maintaining high evaporation efficiency and continuous operation.
It is widely used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental industries for liquid concentration, solvent recovery, wastewater treatment, and crystallization. With customized process design, four-effect evaporators can be integrated with separators and crystallizers to meet a wide range of industrial processing requirements.
