Vacuum Decompression Concentrator (Tank)

The Vacuum Decompression Concentrator is a versatile vacuum evaporation system designed for the low-temperature concentration of liquid materials.

By reducing the boiling point under vacuum conditions, the equipment enables efficient evaporation while minimizing thermal degradation of heat-sensitive components.

It is widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, biotechnology, and other industries for liquid concentration, solvent recovery, alcohol recovery, and reflux extraction processes.

The system mainly consists of a vacuum concentrator tank, gas-liquid separator, condenser, cooler, and receiving tank, with customizable configurations available to meet different process requirements.

Description

The Vacuum Decompression Concentrator, also known as a Vacuum Concentrator, is a versatile evaporation and concentration device widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, chemicals, biotechnology, and other related fields. It is designed for the concentration of liquid materials under vacuum conditions, reducing the boiling temperature and protecting heat-sensitive components.

In addition to liquid concentration, the equipment can also be used for solvent recovery, alcohol recovery, and simple reflux extraction processes.

Working Principle

The liquid material is fed into the Vacuum Decompression Concentrator Tank, where it is heated under vacuum conditions until boiling occurs. Due to the reduced pressure, the boiling point of the liquid is lowered, allowing evaporation to take place at a relatively low temperature.

During the evaporation process, water or other solvents are vaporized to generate secondary steam. The secondary steam passes through a gas-liquid separator to remove entrained droplets and foam containing valuable components. The separated liquid phase is returned to the concentrator tank through reflux, ensuring maximum recovery of effective ingredients.

The clean secondary vapor then enters the condenser and cooler, where it is condensed into liquid and collected in the receiving tank. Through continuous evaporation and solvent removal, the concentration of the processed liquid is gradually increased.

The Vacuum Decompression Concentrator mainly consists of:

•  Coil-type cooler

•  Liquid receiving tank

•  Vacuum system and related accessories (optional)
