The containerized low-temperature heat pump evaporator is a fully integrated, skid-mounted system designed for efficient and flexible concentration and treatment for liquid materials.

Utilizing a vapor compression heat pump cycle under vacuum conditions, it enables low-temperature evaporation with high energy efficiency and reduced operating costs.

Available in concentration and crystallization configurations, the system provides a compact, automated, and reliable solution for a wide range of industrial applications.

Description

Containerized Low-Temperature Heat Pump Evaporator

Designed with standardized, modular, and intelligent skid-mounted concepts, the containerized low-temperature heat pump evaporator system offers high flexibility and ease of transportation. The system is delivered as a fully assembled unit, enabling rapid installation and commissioning while meeting customized project requirements.

It is widely applied across industries such as food processing, chemicals, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection.

The system is available in two configurations: Concentration type and Crystallization type.
• The concentration type is suitable for applications such as food and pharmaceutical processing, emulsion concentration, organic wastewater treatment, and brine concentration.
• The crystallization type is designed for high-salinity wastewater, enabling concentration and crystallization, and is particularly suitable for handling complex wastewater streams.

Low-Temperature Heat Pump Concentration Evaporator

Working Principle

• Feeding
A vacuum system creates a negative pressure environment inside the evaporator, drawing feed material into the system.

• Heating
The heat pump system operates based on a vapor compression cycle. The high-temperature side transfers heat to the feed material via the heat exchanger, gradually increasing the feed liquid temperature.

• Evaporation

Under high vacuum conditions, the boiling point is significantly reduced. The liquid begins to boil at approximately 38°C, generating vapor.

• Condensation

The low-temperature side of the heat pump condenses the secondary vapor into distilled water while recovering latent heat for reuse in the system.

• Discharge

As evaporation progresses, the liquid becomes increasingly concentrated. Once the target concentration is reached, the system stops and discharges the concentrate.
